Kynd to the Planet.

It's important to us that as a brand, we show kindness to the planet.

We recognise that sustainability is an ongoing process of refining and tweaking, so we'll continue to keep you updated on our journey. We have started our journey of sustainability as a brand by focusing on reducing the use of plastic where we can.

These are our focus areas for how we are working to be kind to the planet...

Our Bamboo Cap.

Kynd Sustainability | Bamboo Cap
Did You Know?

It is estimated that 91% of plastic isn't recycled(1).

It is estimated that 8300 million metric tons of plastic has been made since 1950(1).

Introducing Our Bamboo Cap!

We worked hard on finding a solution to reduce the traditional plastic caps used in the supplements category. We chose bamboo because it's super-fast growing, it doesn't need fertilisers or pesticides to grow and is naturally biodegradable.

It's estimated that plastic takes 450 years to degrade(2), whereas bamboo takes only six months if placed in a home composter. In Australia, we don't currently have an option to put our bamboo in curb side bins, so we recommend either commercial or composting or disposing of our cap in general rubbish for it to naturally decompose in a few years.

Our Supplement Bottles.

Kynd to the Planet | Sustainability | Glass, Bamboo | Vitamin
We've launched our range of Kynd supplements in glass bottles!

We've found that the next best step in our sustainability journey is to store our supplements in glass rather than plastic. Glass is a material with nearly zero moisture transfer, meaning your product is protected from moisture, PLUS it's a material that can be recycled endlessly with no loss in quality or purity(3).

Our Cartons.

Kynd to the Planet | Sustainability | Cardboard, Soft Plastic Recycling
Our Kynd Nutricosmetic Collagen FORTE product is a delicious Natural Wildberry Flavoured powder, packaged into convenient sachets which are packed into a cardboard carton.

These sachets are soft plastic recyclable and the cartons can be recycled in your paper recycling bin.

Online Orders.

Kynd Sustainability | Hero Mailer | Compostable
If you purchase Kynd online, good news!

We've partnered with Hero Packaging to pack and deliver your Kynd order in a compostable, padded mailer called the Herobubble™!

Your Kynd order may be accompanied by packing peanuts.
These packing peanuts are made from starch, which are eco-friendly as they're biodegradable and are dissolvable in water!

Our Fish Oil.

Kynd Sustainable Sourced Fish Oil Double Strength | Traceable, Tested

We are proud that the Kynd Fish Oil Double Strength supplement is sustainably and traceably sourced!

Our fish oil is sustainably sourced and expertly purified in Arica, Chile, in the middle of the richest fishing ground for anchovy in the world, in the South Pacific Ocean.

The Friend of the Seas group has certified our supply of Omega-3 as sustainable fishing and sustainable aquaculture through practices of protecting our oceans for future generations.

The fish oil is then encapsulated and packed in Sydney, Australia where every batch is tested for impurities and heavy metals.

It is through these steps that our fish oil supplement is sustainably sourced and traceable.
